HAPPY B-day to KEELY!

Hey guys!!
I received great news a couple of days ago about my horse (of course, the
most beautiful arab that ever lived- goes without saying!!) Fara Dakila. 
She turns 21 tomorrow and has come to me a few years ago after a great
show career in the Mid-Atlantic zone.  THE NEWS::  My good friend and
neighbor  - who some of you must know, Patty Lambert, equine photographer
- whose appy Trenton completed his 3,000 miles last year! - she called to
tell me that one of her gorgeous photos of my mare was going to be
PUBLISHED (!!!!! - proud mother screaming here - !!!!!!) in a book coming
out, I hope, soon!!!!  The book title is something like .. "Equine Photos
and Drawings for Anatomy and Conformation" !!!!! (I'm buying stock in
exclamation marks!!!!)  Patty had sent 5 photos (connection to publisher
via a PA endurance person) to the publisher and MY MARE was picked!!! 
It's a head and neck shot and the title will read something like "Soft
Eyes".  Now, of course I know she's gorgeous, but when a to-me-unknown
person wants to publish the photo, hey!  So now, assuming all goes well
and the book will actually materialize, etc. etc. etc., Keely will be
immortalized!  Lordy, lordy, you mothers out there - I'm motherless of
2-legged critters, so she might be a replacement of sorts, BUT, if I
actually had humanoid kids, I'd have to be straight-jacketed if they were
given any kind of recognition!  You all know what I mean!  So maybe it's
better in a way that I don't have kids - the world would go deaf to my
screamings and rantings and ravings about how great they are.  

Okay Karen, calm down -- get off of your "high horse" (she tries to quiet
down after an adrenalin rush)..... just wanted ya'll to know!
