Fat tongue?
My gelding rides comfortably in a French or a basic snaffle, though I don't
use the French on the trail because grass tends to get wrapped around it
(which doesn't happen with the standard snaffle).
But at one point I tried using a mullen-mouth snaffle. Turns out that he
hated it. Started pulling his head away, resisting the bridle.
Does this mean that he has a fat tongue that couldn't fit comfortably under
the mullen?
