Especially with Arabs and their smaller mouths, the snaffle will often jab
them in the roof of the mouth causing major discomfort. A three-piece
mouthpiece tends to work much better, and as you observed, so did the
Kimberwicke, for the same reason--no more pain in the roof of the mouth!
