ENGLISH HACKAMORE
At the Maine-80 this weekend several riders suggested
that I need something more than a full-cheek snaffle on
my 8YO Arab gelding in competition. Until now everyone
I asked said the snaffle should be enough.
Meshack is VERY competitive and difficult to hold back
when there are horses in front (or behind <g>).
The gal I started with on day one suggested an English
hackamore. After the ride I tried hers on Meshack and
he responded well (no competition at the time).
Does this sound like a good step and where can I
obtain one with a WIDE (2"+) noseband?
John and Meshack (I'm getting a what?)
