Hi April! You raised some good points about tired horses. I'll be
interested in the responses. I'm not much help because I only have endurance
experience with one horse (Arab gelding) and he takes good care of himself
(and me) and definitely paces himself. But I'm lucky because he's fairly
sensible (note the word fairly here). As far as getting the numbers off,
I've used Pam (the spray on vegetable oil--not the person) and that works
really well. Just spray it on and then use soap and water to scrub it off.
Don't you want that number on for as long as possible though for "bragging
rights" at your barn?
