Re: Proud flesh remedy?
My filly had quite a bit of proud flesh formed on a cut on her leg. She was
turned out on a 55 acre pasture and walked almost all day, but the PF just
kept getting worse. The vet came out and put a steroidal ointment on the
granulated tissue and then pressure wrapped it. We repeated this procedure
every 5-6 days for the next month until the PF was all gone. It looks great
now! :-)
