kks new horse
If I had a horse I'd been riding 3-4 times a week about ten miles, and had 400 miles on him/her from
last year, I'd be ready for KKS at 25. It would be a good ride to try a 25, with terrain that a
fairly unconditioned horse can manage. This is not to say it is an easy ride, but it isn't cas
challenging as some of the mountain type. Lower elvevations, sage brush. I haven't riden from the
Moxie side before, but it is all rolling sage through that area.
Your horse sounds fit to go - check up on whether there is a 25 on Sunday don't recall seeing one.
Ride 25 Saturday, then volunteer Sunday.
