Yes, do!  I must say, though, that cotton lycra tights are cool only in
drier climes like AZ.  They are absolutely miserable in heat & humidity,
because the cotton holds the sweat and hangs heavily against your skin,
which prevents air movement through the fabric. Yuck.  Breatheable,
wicking synthetics (supplex nylon, tactel nylon, coolmax, spandura) are
much more comfy in high humidity.  Being a cotton-lover, I didn't believe
this until I tried a bunch of different fabrics myself (I make my own
tights, and ordered several different types of fabric and tested them all
out last summer).
