My very favorite trail bridle combination is the soft cowboy halter and
a biothane snap to halter bridle. The bridle is just a headstall with
the brow band. The nice thing is the bridle comes in all different
colors so I can tell who is whose.(even when they are all on the tack
room floor) I buy mine from Australian Connection. They are easy to keep
clean and the plastic snaps will break in an extreme situation. Also the
bridle is way easy to take off and put on. All in all it works for me.
