horsing around
I am a fairly new horse owner..I have an 11 year old endurance arabian who has
done a 50 without me and a coulple of 25's with me. Last week he incured an
injury
at a friends place, where I board him. It looked as if it could have been
some kind
of animal bite on his left rear legl(between the hoof and his knee)...anyway,
to the point....the friend (who has 4 paso's) and I cleaned the wound, put
on the sauve, applied some gauze and wrapped the leg, gave him an
anti-inflamatory, 35 cc of penicillian shots(half in each side of his neck)
The problem came when another friend thought it was best not to wrap the
wound and came over and took it off. Dualling friends! I could screem..I do
not have a job right now and did not want to have to call a vet....or loose a
friend....
Any thoughts on this senerio?
