saddle packs

Thanks to everyone who responded to my inquiry about saddlefit. I decided
on a Synergist saddle and can hardly wait to get it. It will be 12-14 weeks
before it's done.
In the meantime I am using a friends Aussie Stock saddle, which fits the
horse fine, but weighs a ton. I guess it will have to do for now, better
than an ill fitting saddle.
I ordered my Synergist without the packs and bottleholders, as they are
attached to the saddle permanently and I like the idea of having removable
ones.
What are people using for packs? Do snugpacks work well? Any other brand
you recomend for this type of saddle?
