I have used the biological fly control. It works great. It takes a fly's
life cycle to show that they are working since it kills the larvae and not
the adults. The thing about them is you probably don't realize how good they
work until you stop using them. They have to be replenished once a month.
If you have neighboring cattle or a horsey neighbor who doesn't use the
predators you will still see their flies.
My horse was stabled at a dead end road and the four horsey neighbors in the
cove all got together to buy the predators. That helped everyone stay free of
flies.
You should not use fly spray near where the predators are as the sprays will
kill the predators.
