Not a problem this time of yr, but as the winter coat comes in, it helps a 
lot to clip the areas where the electrodes go.  Even with gel, the long hair 
seems to really interfere with getting a reading (at least with mine!).  
Between the neck & chest clips & the electrode placement clip on the back & 
girth, my horses won't win any beauty contests in the fall & spring!
