I was taught that a riding crop is a tool, that's all. The
potential is there for someone to abuse it, but isn't that
the truth about most things?
I do use one when we ride sidesaddle (still in training on
that, so we use it to apply pressure to replace the right
leg). One of these years goon-boy will understand the
different cues! And I have carried them before when not on
sidesaddle, although I've been leaving it behind more and
more since we've been using the pelham (juggling act, here
we come)!
