Yes Monika, that was a concern of mine, but as the strangles had been
out of her system for a long time by then, she was not bringing it to my
property. I checked with no less than three vets before agreeing to have
her here, and they all agreed that it was safe. I didn't have a mare
with strangles on my property, I had a mare that was dying of a sore
throat!
