I'm sure there is no discomfort, and he's at least a 5.5 body score, and
everything looks normal - no food is falling out of his mouth, and his
manure is perfectly normal. I think that he has 'points'.....so what do
you think? Should I do him now? I can always arrange to give him an extra
month or so off, he doesn't exactly need to go to any rides so it's not
that big a deal if it's something that he should have done. I don't ride
him with a bit so there is no problem with his mouth getting bumped. I
don't have my schedule planned for what I'm doing after this month so if
you think it's important to get rid of those points, I'll have him done
asap. (he was done a year ago, so this is really just routine
maintenance). And if I had him done, say this week, and then took him to a
ride on June 12---would I have to be concerned about drug testing?
I think my horses get better dental/health care than I do!!! <sigh>
