Re: Curiousity Shoeing Question
Hi, Trish,
Is that Canadian or US dollars? I pay US$25 for just a trim, $35 for a trim
and front shoes, $45 for a trim and shoes all the way around. If I ask,
Jason (my farrier) will use a new set of shoes, but if the old ones aren't
beat up, we usually just put those back on. (I ask for a new set every other
time so we don't get down to no shoes! :) ) Jason charges $20 more for
these tasks if you're not a regular (i.e., he's not the only farrier you
use), but he's a good farrier, IMO, so I just stick with him. I haven't had
anybody else shoe Apache since I bought Apache. He'll even walk up to Jason
and halter himself for him!
