I too took the slow approach. I mean sssloooooooowww. The first thing I did
was hang the clippers (I have electric Osters) with them on by my colts feed
dish until they got hot. It worked. He got used to the noise. Another thing
that worked, and you are going to laugh, is whenever he backed up, I talked
to him in baby talk. That's just the way he is. Can't help it. He would walk
up again and we'd start all over. I did just a little at a time too. Pretty
soon, I could do his whole body, in a week. He can't be yelled at or
threatened. He gets too nervous. Just my 2 cents. Deb
