RE: Rescues... what is Sam's story?
Jeez Linda, I didn't know whether to cry or laugh. You have a great story
telling talent. I could just picture Sam in each situation and with each
expression on his face. He sounds wonderful. I know what you mean about
wanting to take them all home. My heart just breaks when I see horses or
dogs that aren't getting the care and attention they need. Unfortunately
for them and me, I am limited by space and money or I'd have a huge herd of
horses and a pack of dogs. They are all so individual and special in their
own ways, getting to know them each is the fun for me. I think that you've
interpreted Sam's feeling just right, he is grateful and shows it, he adores
you and always will for what you have done for him. Some of these animals
just touch your heart. Padrick reached out and grabbed mine. I'm glad I
was able to spare him, he deserves a chance at a loving home. Sometimes I
wish money grew on trees and I could have a huge pasture for all those
horses that are unwanted or uncared for...
Thanks so much for your wonderful story about Sam, I feel like I know him.
Dawna
