RE: Running Shoes

Both Adidas and Etonic make excellent pairs of trail running shoes
specifically for women.  They have super traction (don't slip in your
stirrups) and wide bases for weight distribution; also enough of a heel
design to be safe for riding, unlike most street running shoes.  Adidas is
called Trail Response, I forget what the Etonics are called but they have
the added advantage of being Gore Tex.  Check your local outdoors outfitters
or running shoe store.  I got mine at REI.
