I used to have chickens and I fed the horses eggs once a week on their bran
mashes, usually one egg per horse. I have heard that the raw eggs can cause
problems with binding biotin, but I never had that problem and I always fed
them raw. I also heard of an Arab stallion, can't remember who at the
moment, who was fed a raw egg a day and his hooves were fine.
