Potty breaks

This thread must be contagious...ok, ok, here's my story.  Not so funny
as some but here goes.  Went on a trail ride with my nephew near my
home.  We were gone all day, took lunch out on the trail with us.  I
could not, would not stop on the trail so I was getting desperate to get
home.  The way home involved passing through a boy scout camp with an
outhouse. We were only 1/4 mile from home but I HAD to go. I tied my
wonderfully behaved Jonathan (the same one I have again now) to a bush
outside the outhouse.  Pretty soon I hear hoofbeats (my nephew playing a
trick on me, I thought) fading into the distance.  I came out to NO
horse....he LEFT me and ran all the way home!  My nephew attempted to
catch him and in the process broke his rein and of course, failed to
stop anything.  I never trust him anymore (nephew either!) and (cross my
fingers) have been lucky so far just hiding behind the bush and holding
the damn horse myself!!!

P.S. That slicker idea is a good one though and will keep that in mind!
