NATRC & AERC Benefits
> I worked a >NATRC>training ride last year. My personal >philosophy is
that if endurance>riders would work NATRC rides >and vice versa, we'd all
get to do what >we
>really wanna be doing!
O.K. I'll be the bad guy. I've ridden drag for several NATRC
rides...and served on committees with NATRC people. I try not to judge
everyone by the few that I know, but if they could just find it within
themselves not to tell me that I could "Learn
soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much if I would just compete in
their sport for awhile I would be much happier. I'm sure they could
learn a few things doing endurance too, but I'm able to speak a complete
sentence without mentioning it now and then.
I'm happy there are two sports for two different types of people. When I
read a post that promotes that I'm happy...then I had to hit paragraph #
3 with the story of how a NATRC person did an endurance ride and we all
learned soo much from being exposed to a *trained* horse for a change.
