Safety chains

Anyone in Florida know if there's a new law that a GN horse trailer must
have safety chains?  I'm about to get a 5th wheel attachment put in my
new truck, and 2 places I called told me it's now a DOT law.  I've never
seen these, but I am blind at times.  Help before I spend needless cash
and effort.  Thanks in advance. Randi in Central Florida
