White Hairs

I seem to remember an atypical pattern of graying that my old mare
expressed, but I don't remember what it was called. She had speckles of
gray starting at her tail and working forward up her spine over time.
It started in an area that did NOT have any tack, and it started to
appear when she was around 7 years old.
The other possibility is a skin infection that damaged select
follicles. (ie a scattered folliculitis)?
As long as you don't feel that there is no actual injury or damage... I
wouldn't worry. Of course, Clairol hides a multitude of gray hair! I
guess that for a gelding, you'd have to use "Just For Men"? (Just don't
alter her color and try to show in an open Arab ring- a big no no.)
