Yes, that will do it! We have those, too, and they are even more frightening
than Elephant Seals because they move so quickly and are usually in the
forest. The first time my horse saw an Elephant Seal, he took it for a dark
brownish-grey log on the beach. Then the log reared up, trumpeted (as only
an Elephant Seal bull can do) and lumbered off into the surf. My horse
freaked, and he never again trusted anything BIG. Even large rocks on the
Nevada desert were suspect.
