Lots of people use other sources of Calcium (even Tums will do in a
rush). I was always scared of the limestone because I didn't know which
kind was the dangerous stuff, and my feedstore man was an idiot who would
act like he knew when he didn't.
I bought a tub of Dicalcium Phosphate which is made by Farnum and
packaged as a feed additive for horses from the feedstore (they had to
order it). It didn't cost much and one tub lasts forever. It also
desolves well in water.
I've often wondered about the "Iodized or non-Iodized" I've used Iodized
since that's what I had. Anybody out there want to give us some advice
on that one?
Angie
