How strange. I just this morning called the co-op to get prices for my trailer. Bias tires are readily available and cost about $3 less than radials. Guess I will go for the radials. Linnea >My trailer came equipped with bias tires. As they failed it became >more and more difficult to replace them. Last year my company found >ONE bias tire in California >(I 'm in Iowa--Go figure the shipping cost). When I had a flat >(unrepairable) a couple of weeks ago, of course there were no more >bias tires available, so they replaced it with a radial of the same >size. We're not sure how this will work, but I wasn't prepared at >that point to buy 3 more new radials. The mechanic said to go ahead >and replace the biases as they failed. We'll see. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
