RE: Pregnant Mare
Julia,
Don't turn your back for a second!!!! I witnessed my 1st foaling experience last may, and oy was it kewl!!! I got home from work checked the water trough looked at my mare..she looked fine, a little irritated, but fine..sooooo I went into the house to put my "barn shoes" on, got a phone call, was on there for roughly 5 minutes, went back outside to start feeding, looked out into the pasture where my mare was standing...looking pathetic with a large "BUBBLE" hanging out!!!! I got really excited and started hollering for my husband (his 1st too) I ran into the pature and walked my mare into the barn....it took about 30 minutes and out popped the cutest little filly!!! I was soooo excited!!! It was also my mares 1st foal. I am anxiously awaiting her second due on may 13 (I think it will be here sooner!!) The best of luck to you!!!!
