sports saddle question

I don't ride endurance, so I can't speak for really long distances, but I've
used my SS from a walking horse, QH to a WB cross and it's always worked
great for all my horses. The only problem I have is that when I put my
equalizer pad with it which I think makes it more comfy for all concerned,
it rolls when I try to mount.  Anyone else had this problem?
