Correction RE: Mountainside/Whiskeytown ride story (long, and shameless brag about kid)
I am going to only tell "our" story, but there were a lot of other stories going on! Both horses vetted through fine, though Ashley had a C in skin tenting (slightly dehydrated, older horse) ,and a B in gut and membranes(Chancey had a B in mucous membranes); we did a short warm up ride (both horses were idiots), and got ready.

Whoops, not that it matters, but I'm going to correct myself here. I was looking at the wrong side of the vet card, duh. Both horses vetted in with all A's. Ashley had the C in skin tenting at the first check-that improved to A by the second check at lunch. All A's at the lunch stop, all A's at mile 42. End scores were all B's. Any comments on this appreciated. I feel, given the temps and terrain, and the age of the horse this was probably okay.
