Re: Does hay last?
I was always told never to feed clover to horses because of the mold
problem. Ranchers here will not sell you hay with clover in it if you have
horses, and it is only round baled for cows.
As for lasting, in our humid area, grass will last longer than alfalfa, but
as Leigh said, you can keep it for a couple of years if it is stored
properly.
