	It's possible vaccination has some effect, but I don't think you even need
to invoke it. I'd say the stress factor in high level competition horses
alone is enough to compromise the immune response.
	One should keep in mind that the immune system is constantly being
presented with foreign antigens in the normal course of events, vaccination
or no.

	I don't see where deworming stresses the immune system. Anyone got a
reasonably scientific explanation why it would?
