TWH or Arab?

Hi, All;
I started endurance on a big, black, horse that was thought to be an
old-style TWH.  Some of you remember Chico... had marvelous
conformation,  went on and on, like an energizer bunny/freight train. 
However, his biggest fault was that he couldn't recover in the vet
checks like the arabians could.  This was even before they had gates
into the hold...back when the pulse recovery criteria was quite often
72!  So, once I started with the arabians, I never went back.  I
appreciate the easy recoveries.
