Glycogen Supplement
My mum who was a cancer patient was given a glycogen supplement called
Polyjoule, and I now have a couple of tins of it as she no longer needs
them. I was wondering if it would be a good thing to use before (for
pre ride loading) during or after a ride to help the horse. My
understanding is that muscles use glycogen and it takes a while for the
body to manufacture it again. I would appreciate any advice on this as
I dont want to just start shoving it into my horse before knowing a
little more of any likely effects either good or bad.
Thanks
