Re: Joint supplements
My friend's barn was recently visited by an equine physical therapist
who also works at a race track in the NJ area, and is apparently a
well-respected practitioner.  She was selling some (very expensive)
joint supplements that she reccommended, and giving advice about when to
feed what. She advocates feeding the glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate
supplements separately, one in morning, the other in the evening feed. 
Said there is evidence that feeding both together can cause bleeding in
the horse.  What does this mean, and is there any truth to it?  So many
products combine them both...
