saddles

Several weeks ago someone asked about an orthoflex saddle that 
made noise when she rode in it.  Well, I had the same problem and 
sent it back to orthoflex where they discovered a broken tree 
(covered under warrenty, thank goodness).  I would have never 
known otherwise!
In the two weeks that it took them to fix and return it, I found 
myself riding in three different saddles (three different horses).  My 
body really took a lickin' .  I have ridden in all of these saddles for 
years, but not a lot since I've had the orthoflex.  Part of the problem 
is that no matter how hard I tried, the stirrups were always just a 
bit different in  each saddle which put a lot of stress on my legs 
and back.  It was quite a learning experience.   I am sooooo happy 
to have my orthoflex back.
