Some horses are so "talented" they find a way to get thrush. Mine was on a dry
paddock in August with dry dirt in her hoof. Hooves were picked regularly. The
problem? An old, overlooked stone bruise that apparently was infected and abcessed.
I caught it quickly and cleaned it out and used one dose of Kopertox. Life is good.
But since she has exhibited this "talent," I pay more attention to her feet than I
even did before!
