A-Betta saddles

I've been following the discussion on the Big Horn saddles with
interest, since a friend of mine was thinking of getting one.  Sounds
like it wouldn't be the best thing for his kids.  Does anyone use the
A-Betta endurance?  I know of one person who does and loves it but I'm
collecting more opinions.
