That is exactly how I have been viewing it.  NOBODY has to try to defend Tom.
Anybody with the strength of conviction that he has is capable of defending
themselves.  Also, I find it entertaining and informative when this stuff gets
going (except I have to look up one or two of the 4 syllable words).  I think
that if the rest of us (Ridecamp) would let these 'scientists' duke it out for
themselves, we'd get the information we crave without the rhetoric.  These
guys are all grown-ups and can defend themselves (and have a good time doing
it by all appearances!).
