Pigeon-toed mountain horse!?!
Do young horses and cattle commonly get pigeon-toed from growing up on a
steep mountainside pasture? That's the story I got from a seller who showed
me a very pigeon-toed mare (who traveled or "tracked up" straight) and her
straight-legged son. She got the story from the previous owner and breeder.
The CD says the previous owner (the breeder) lives in New Jersey. Maybe he
moved from somewhere mountainous. I liked the mare otherwise, despite her
being blind in one eye.
