Melissa Virus, cont'd

I guess nobody else has said it, and it needs to be said:  this virus
affect Windows machines, not current Macintoshes and presumably not Unix
boxes either.

So my fellow Macaholic ridecampers should relax.

About viruses, anyway.  About Microsoft products, probably not.  For
instance, there are over 300 bugs reported on
http://www.interlog.com/%7Ejoeclark/bugs.html, the unofficial bug report
page for Word 98, part of MS Office 98.

If anybody is contemplating running Mac OS X Server, there is a patch to
prevent this virus getting a toehold.
