Pat Bush kenpat@jps.net I have one of the older Big Horn saddles and the rigging on it is very different from the newer ones. The new ones are center fire and have a tendency to slip forward on the horse. Mine has 3/4 (I think) rigging and does not slip forward. Saddle shops have told me that Big Horn has never changed the riggings, but I have compared it with a friend's new one and there is a difference of about 3 inches. If you can find an old one, grab it as quickly as you can. It is also wider than the new ones, but I think you do have a choice of tree widths. Not sure, tho. I really like the saddle and would buy another one if I could find one of the older models.
