Well, pulse recovery will give you an indication of aerobic fitness, but it
too isn't a complete picture. Lots of things (ie, pain, excitement,
dehydration) can affect recovery, so just that alone also doesn't give you
clinical quantitative data, either. Just another handy tool to try to get
an overall picture.
