12th ANNUAL NEW MEXICO RENEGADE RIDE

The Eiland Family would like to thank all who participated in the 12th
ANNUAL NEW MEXICO RENEGADE RIDE held March 15th thru the 19th.  As is
always the case, we had great riders and crews from all nine regions of
AERC. We also had the world's best helpers (they know who they are) - 
those unsung people who really are the backbone that help make rides like
the RENEGADE work so successfully.  

27 of the 55 riders who started on Monday were able to complete all five
days on the animals they started with.  5 Juniors made it all five days
on the horses they started with and several riders who fall into the Bill
Stuckey Category made it all five days on their original horses, too. 

In 1988 we had 17 starters, 18 in 1989, and about 50 a day this year. 
Thanks to all the supporters of our historic trail multi day rides ~ you
are in a class of your own.
