Re: excitement (was sportsmanship
When I was 22, I loved riding my TB (ex-track). He was fast, it was exciting...
you never knew what kind of a ride you were going to get. He had reasonably good
ground manners, but was a handful to ride. Then in my mid-20s, I got into Morgans
by accident (not literally). They have plenty of "go", will work all day long for
you and you pretty much always know what kind of a ride you'll get: pleasant and
steady. I'm never going back to the "excitement". Getting dumped is no fun (just
happened three weeks ago) and mostly I figure it's a good way to get knocked out
of riding for a while... if not worse. I'd rather ride than heal. I'll keep my
(mostly) sane and dependable guys... thanks.
