sugar for wounds
Hmmm, maybe that's (the caustic nature of iodine tincture) why his entire
wound looked better today when I pulled the bandage off. The part that
wasn't proud flesh looked like it was healing up (however slowly), while the
proud flesh seemed to be diminishing. I put the mixture back on and
rewrapped his foot today. Since it seems to be doing what I want it to, I'm
going to leave it on until Thursday. I'm hoping it will finally work!
Although, it could simply be a case of keeping the horrible mud off the cut.
I don't know. It's so much trial and error! If I have to wrap it again,
I'll use the gentler Betadine solution instead of straight iodine. Thanks
for the heads-up about it!
