Washington DC to preserve Trails

Hope you keep an eye out for Connie Berto's report on her trip to
Washington DC last week to lobby Congress, Senate,  our National Park
Service and US Forest Service to get more funding to repair and maintain
our trails. She made a great defense of the horse to them. There was nine
equestrians present this year - that was seven more than last year when the
only equestrians present were Nancy DuPont, Heritage Trails and Alan from
the Back Country Horsemen.
Three this year were from AERC. Congratulations!
