I used a nylon halter/bridle combo from BMB Tack for over a year and quite
liked it. I switched to a biothane set only because the nylon webbing was
so wide (1") and it had so many pieces, all that nylon quite overwhelmed
the tiny little head of my tiny little horse -- it looked funny and I
thought it was probably a bit too hot. I've heard that the combos don't
work as well with curb bits (something about not positioning the bit
properly) but it worked fine with my D-ring snaffle.
