Re: RC: entry dinner fees
From someone who has more money than time right now,
I'd happily pay $13 extra and have often bought an
extra meal for my hubby who rarely but *might* appear
after the ride as well. I figure it's cheep insurance,
I'd rather have a bit extra paid.
Said hubby has eaten exactly 1 meal so far, but that
was well worth the extra meal ticket. I've on occasion
(Gold Country last year) skipped the meal (we were all
wet and freezing and just wanted to go HOME), but never
regretted paying up front.
I've also never been to a ride that ran out of food
and couldn't feed me... even though I've never finished
in the front half of the pack. In fact with the new
guy I passed all of 2 people in the last 5 miles and
finished in front of 2 drag riders at EHSC last year.
I'm hoping you and other ride managers don't see fit
to stop feeding us. Looking forward to doing 2 of
Barbara's rides this year for the first time... if
we can pull it off... Castle Rock and Swanton Pacific...
and I'll bet an extra meal ticket I get fed.
